My son had been suffering from seizures from 2-6 months old and he became silent. I meant most of the time he didn’t make any sound, and he didn’t have any eye contact with anyone. He couldn’t even look at me when I called his name or played with him. His eyes couldn’t track toys at all, even after attending many times of physiotherapy classes. He couldn’t even turn his head much at all.
We tried everything we could to help him to improve the basic motion control ability, but nothing really worked.
in the year Covid-19 started, we stopped bringing him out for physiotherapy. However, I did witness all the small improvement of his eye moving and his muscle tone getting stronger and stronger as time went by. Other than that, we saw nothing improving.
Until the year 2022, a nightmare attacked our family again. My son had a major operation because of a 6 inches sized hernia was found inside of his body (I’ve already shared the testimony somewhere else in this blog). Long story short, God said we have not because we ask not. So, I set my heart and sought the Lord Jesus with all my heart. I believed that God’s words are alive and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword. I boldly claiming God’s word over my son’s weak body and declaring that my son has a mind of Christ. In ICU ward, I remember I prayed over his eye tracking ability to come to live in Jesus’ name, a few days after my prayers I saw my son slowly start to move his head and turn around… left and right! His eyes started to look around and tracking the direction of nurses talking.
